In Case You Missed It

This week, RMI launched their new video Reinventing Fire: Change Energy Use Forever with a warm welcome from the online community. It seems in our current climate of Washington gridlock, economic uncertainty and high unemployment, a positive vision of what the future could hold—if we make the right decisions about energy today—is a welcome deviation from the norm.

Don’t miss the video as featured on GreenBiz, Clean Technica, and Climate Progress, where Stephen Lacey points out the importance of a clear, achievable and inspirational vision to balance controversial political endorsements.

So, what is the next step in making this vision a reality?

On October 27th, RMI officially launches Reinventing Fire: Bold Business Solutions for the New Energy Era, at a free public event at National Geographic’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

There, RMI co-founder and Chairman Amory Lovins, SunPower founder and CTO Thomas Dinwoodie, Guggenheim Securities Senior Managing Director and automotive expert John Casesa and Stephen Brand, former SVP of Technology at ConocoPhillips discuss how businesses can lead America toward a more prosperous, secure and low-carbon economy.

When: Thursday, October 27, 2011, 11 a.m.—12 p.m.

Where: National Geographic Grosvenor Auditorium, 1600 M St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20036-4688
