Building The Electricity System Of The Future: Fort Collins

Fort Collins Utilities has been working to build a net zero energy district in downtown Fort Collins, FortZED, with the help of Rocky Mountain Institute's Electricity Innovation Lab (eLab).

Minnesota's Path To Sustainable Energy

RMI recently completed a report for the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources, that develops the scope for a study of how Minnesota can achieve a sustainable energy system that does not rely on fossil fuels.

The report outlines the value proposition for carrying out such a study and defines potential approaches and considerations to assess cross-sector opportunities in electrical, transportation, thermal, industrial, and agricultural sectors. Read The Report
